OUR FOUNDER'S STORY
Roll In Peace Foundation was born from love, resilience, and a mother's desire to ensure that no family feels alone during life's most difficult moments.
A few days before creating this foundation, I experienced one of the most terrifying moments of my life. My son began choking and stopped breathing. In that moment, nothing else mattered. Fear took over, and I realized just how alone we were.
As a parent, you do everything you can to protect your child, but that experience reminded me that many families are carrying unimaginable burdens behind closed doors.
For my family, the journey has been long.
My son has faced challenges for over 15 years. He has endured struggles that many people will never fully understand. Two years ago, he experienced the heartbreaking loss of his father to gun violence. Despite everything he has faced, he continues to wake up with a smile, a loving heart, and a determination that inspires everyone around him.
His strength is the reason this foundation exists.
Roll In Peace Foundation was created to honor his journey and to support other individuals and families who may feel overwhelmed, isolated, or forgotten. We believe that everyone deserves compassion, encouragement, resources, and a community that stands beside them during difficult seasons.
The saying goes, "It takes a village."
This foundation exists to help build that village.
We want families to know they are not alone. We want individuals facing challenges to know that their lives matter. We want communities to come together in service, support, and love.
My son has taught me what resilience truly looks like. He has shown me that strength is not the absence of struggle—it is choosing to keep smiling, keep loving, and keep moving forward despite it.
